Jameis Winston threw for 207 yards and a touchdown and ran one in for another in the Buccaneers 26-19 win over the Saints. Winston joins former Bucs players Cadillac Williams (who won it 3 times in 2005) and Michael Clayton(who won in 2004). He also joins present teammate and former Rookie of the Week winner Doug Martin, making this the 6th time a Buccaneer won Rookie of the Week. Congrats young man and we hope there are many more to come.
Winston was one of five nominees, along with Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper, Redskins running back Matt Jones, Cardinals running back David Johnson and Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters.
