Changes to come for the secondary.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions and begins bad mouthing some of these proposed changes to the secondary, keep in mind that the secondary only needs minor tweaking, and from what Roy Cummings is reporting, those changes will come. As far as a scheme change goes, that may be the best route. I do love my Tampa 2, but the Tampa 2 only works if you have the players who can work it.

“So what changes could be coming? Well it seems that, for the time being, Alterraun Verner will continue to get most of his snaps at the slot corner spot that Ronde Barber once played so well, which means Sterling Moore may start to get more work at outside corner. Another change may involve the return of starting cornerback Johnthan Banks, who has missed the last two games with a knee injury, or an increase in playing time for safety D.J. Swearinger, who ranks 13th on the team in tackles despite playing a limited role.” -Reported by Roy Cummings
