Mike Jenkins says “Buccaneers secondary can correct its lack of focus”

Obviously, there is a lack of focus involved in how the secondary is playing, right now. The secondary, not playing well is allowing quarterbacks to pick them apart. The Bucs allowed Jaguar QB Blake Bortles to drive the field, 86-yards in 7 plays, doing so in just under 2 mins. Similarly, the Buccaneers allow Kirk Cousin, an 11 play drive for 80 yards in 2 mins to score the game-winning touchdown.

“The lack of attention to detail was clear Sunday, when Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins diced the Bucs for a season-high 317 yards passing and three touchdowns as Tampa Bay squandered a 24-point lead. That followed what Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles did in Week 5, when he passed for 303 yards with four touchdowns and one interception at Raymond James Stadium.” – Reported by Andrew Astleford
