Winston had a good game, Martin and Evans, not so good

The Giants were all over Doug Martin in Sunday’s game. The way the Giants defense played, it seemed like they were making up for an entire season of being ranked the worst in the NFL. They did not look that way on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“QB Jameis Winston: He was collected in the pocket again, completing 19 of 36 passes for 249 yards with a rushing touchdown. His numbers would have been better without drops by top playmakers such as Mike Evans and Doug Martin. RB Doug Martin: He entered having run for at least 106 yards in three of his previous four games, but the Giants did a good job of containing him from the start.” – Reported by Andrew Astleford
