Buccaneers Pro Bowl possibilities come with cheers and sneers

Tampa should have at least four players heading to the Pro Bowl. But, with all the haters out there we will not likely see one in Hawaii this year. And that would be a shame because of the talent we have with some of rookies and veterans. Jameis Winston has defied all the odds and skepticism. Kwon Alexander is a beast and one of the best linebackers around.  Ali Marpet is a rookie lineman that is half human half brick wall and Doug Martin is well, Doug Martin, once again.

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been getting some national despite being 3-5 and finding ways to lose winnable games every other week. They’ve also been getting a lot of criticism for individual performances. And this week, we’ve got prominent examples of both in the national media. So here’s the good news: Gil Brandt of NFL.com named Kwon Alexander, Ali Marpet and Jameis Winston to his list of rookie Pro Bowl candidates. That’s hefty praise, especially given the fact that Alexander was a fourth-round pick, and Marpet is coming from Division III Hobart College.” – Reported by Sander Philipse
