At first, everyone thought it may have been just a rumor that Rookie Kwon Alexander could be suspended for PEDs.
“Alexander later confirmed the potential ban, telling the Tampa Bay Times’ Greg Auman it stemmed from an energy drink, adding: “I didn’t know. I always took it, like in high school and everything.” While Alexander told Auman he’s appealing the suspension, he said he’s “very disappointed” in himself. Alexander also said the team warns players to be careful about what they put into their bodies. “All they kept saying is if you’re about to drink something, ask somebody first,” Alexander said, per Auman.” – Report by Mike Chiari
