John Lynch to enter Buccaneers Ring of Honor

Long time fan favorite, and NFL’s hardest hitting safety, John Lynch will be joining 8 Tampa greats in the Buccaneers Ring of Honor. Already members of the R.O.H. is former HC  John McKay, Tight end Jimmie Giles, Defensive tackle Warren Sapp (HOF 2013), Linebacker Derrick Brooks (HOF 2014), Offensive tackle Paul Gruber, Fullback Mike Alstott, Quarterback Doug Williams, and Defensive end LeRoy Selmon (HOF 1995). Lynch is a Hall of Fame finalist, along with Tony Dungy, for 2016. Both are very deserving, and I would love nothing more than for them to enter The Hall, together.

“Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist and nine-time Pro Bowl safety John Lynch will be the next member of the Bucs’ Ring of Honor. The Bucs have scheduled a news conference for 3 p.m. Friday to announce that Lynch will become the ninth member of the franchise to have their name added to Raymond James Stadium. The date of Lynch’s induction ceremony will be determined with the release of the NFL schedule in April.” – Reported by Rick Stroud
