It’s a shame that people even get themselves involved in situations such as this one, but it has been an issue for football players for quite some time now. More and more these types of allegations are surfacing, from college to the NFL, and sadly, it looks like they will continue.
“New York Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley is facing possible assault charges after a woman accused him of raping her during a date that went horribly awry in a Midtown hotel. The accuser suffered minor injuries when she confronted the lineman afterward outside the hotel, and he allegedly struck her with the front of his car as he drove away, law enforcement sources told The Post. Those injuries could earn him a misdemeanor assault rap. Less clear are the woman’s rape allegations, which multiple police sources say could wind up in a he-said, she-said stalemate.” – Reported by The New York Post
