The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finally re-signed franchise RB Doug Martin to a deal reportedly worth $35.75 million over the course of 5 years. I have been told $15 million is guaranteed. This move was absolutely crucial to keep the continuity in Dirk Koetter’s streaming offense. It was highly speculated Martin was going to cash in on a monster contract elsewhere. As many expected, he would not find that magical number in Free Agency and likely the best offer he would receive would come from Tampa Bay. Indeed, it did.
