To trade or not to trade-That is the question.

Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to extend the contract and
The slings of footballs by outrageous fortune
Or to take arms against a sea of draft picks….

Jason Licht did say Glennon was available for the right price, and it’s more than likely that when Glennon’s contract is up after 2016, that he will seek a team that he has a better chance of seeing playing time. Trade or keep? That’s one of the many questions plaguing the Buccaneers GM. Licht has stated that the Bucs had been speaking with quite a few teams, but now that has become only a few teams. Licht also stated that they have to at some point come to a decision upon whether or not they are going to keep Glennon. “When I say keep him, keep him now, keep him long term, extend him for a couple of years. Having a backup quarterback that we think has starting ability is a huge asset for us.”

Tampa’s GM has made mention of a two-year-$6 million contract, but the rumor still going around is that the Jets are interested in Glennon, but not for a trade with Wilkerson. Maybe Denver will step in and divvy up some draft picks unless they seriously think they will get Kaepernick from the 49ers. I know they have Mark Sanchez, but do you really want to be stuck with Sanchez as your starter, and it’s likely that Glennon is closer to being a good starting QB than any of the QB’s in the draft that would be even close to being available for the Broncos or the Jets. Someone needs to make a move before Tampa says, “Glennon extended.”
