The number one pick in the draft has already been traded. Could there be another trade on the horizon?
According to multiple sources, the Browns are actively shopping the second pick overall, and may already have multiple interested parties. It has been reported that as of today, Sashi Brown, the Browns VP of operations, is initiating calls, that could lead to a future trade. Nothing is set in stone at this point, but it is 100%^ clear that the Browns are shopping the pick, and gauging offers.
The Rams will not state who they will select number one overall, but they have admitted to a future meeting with quarterbacks Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, later this week. It should be obvious that the Rams will select one of those two QB’s number one overall.
The Browns may be interested in one of the two top QB prospects, but depending on who the Rams select, the Browns may trade the second pick, for more picks, in order to fill other team needs. As of right now, RG3 is the starting quarterback, unless something changes.
