Tampa Bay Buccaneers make two more roster moves

Tampa has waived undrafted rookie safety, Traveon Henry. In addition, they also waived the injured undrafted rookie wide receiver, Dez Stewart. But those moves made room for John Lowdermilk, who was recently cut by the Vikings, and wide receiver Freddie Martino. Martino played, for a short time under Dirk Koetter, with the Atlanta Falcons back in 2014.

Lowdermilk was a rookie last season but never seen any regular season playing time. However, Lowdermilk did play the preseason with the San Diego Chargers.  Lowdermilk was then released and picked up by the Minnesota Viking’s practice squad. He was resigned back in January to the Vikings but was later released earlier this week.

Freddie Martino, who only played in on regular season game with the Falcons, had no catches for the Falcons and was picked up by the Eagles. During the preseason last year with the Eagles, Martino did catch a touchdown pass that was thrown by Tim Tebow.
