C.J. Wilson waived by Tampa to pursue career in Canada.

C.J. Wilson had an unfortunate accident last 4th of July when a firework exploded in his right hand leaving him without two of his fingers. The Buccaneers had him on their reserved-retired list but waived him Wednesday. They waived him so he could continue his football career in the CFL. It has been confirmed that Wilson has been signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Wilson was an undrafted free agent in 2013 and played two games for the Chicago Bears before being released and joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in 2014. He played only two games for Tampa.
