Trevor Siemian is the only QB on the Broncos current roster, with any prior team experience. Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch were both added this year, but HC Gary Kubiak said he wouldn’t sleep on Siemian that he could very well end up with the starting job. One of the many positive attributes Kubiak cited of Siemian, is his high level of confidence.
Siemian remains confident in his abilities and with Mark Sanchez out of team drills while recovering from thumb surgery, Siemian is in a pretty good position in this competition. “I feel great. I feel really confident at this point. Last year at this time, I had the knee injury and was swimming a little bit in the playbook. I’m light years ahead of where I was last year. I still have a lot of work to do, but I feel pretty confident.”
