The Jets and Fitzpatrick cannot come to an agreement, still. Ryan Fitzpatrick said he would accept a one-year $12 million contract, but of course, the Jets have no interest in paying that. However, the Jets’ original deal of three years at $24 million still stands. The public display of negotiations is entertaining for some, and seem unprofessional to others, But as far as fans and teammates are concerned, they would like to see the Jets and Fitz wrap this deal up and start playing some football.
