NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Detroit LionsThe Detroit Lions will be without recently retired Calvin Johnson, and some believe that the Lions, especially Stafford, will not be able to get it done without their security blanket. Stafford, on the other hand, has a ton of confidence in the weapons the Lions still have. “I think we’re going to do it a little bit differently than we have the in the past. Obviously, we used to feature Calvin, and everybody kind of got theirs after that. It’s going to be, I think, tougher for defenses in a certain way in that they don’t know who we’re going to. There’s no guy to key in on. We’re probably just going to spread the ball around a bunch, and a bunch of guys will get a ton of catches and we’ll be all right.”

Marvin Jones was signed in free agency with the hope that it will help fill the void left by Calvin Johnson, in cotrrelation, with T.J. Jones, Golden Tate, and Eric Ebron, the Lions may just not miss Calvin Johnson at all.
