Akeem Spence who missed the first half of the 2015 season with a back injury, is ready to return and is excited about the Tampa defense. “I can tell you all of us up front especially are excited. He owes a lot of that confidence to the new defensive coordinator Mike Smith, and how the change in the defensive scheme will be something for the players to look forward to. “That is me tipping my hat to Coach Smith and the staff. We have been able to learn this defense twice from OTAs to minicamp. Guys are picking it up well. Learning the rules and now we are just rolling. Now we are playing ball. Now we can fine tune it.
