Bucs and Jags: Two teams on the cusp of a turnaround?

The second preseason game for the Bucs will be a road test in Jacksonville as they face another team trying to turn around years of disappointment.  Both the Bucs and Jaguars have strong offenses with young quarterbacks who will move their teams down the field as was seen in last seasons 38-31 victory in Tampa for the Bucs.  The defenses will be the key to seeing if these teams can make a run and end their long playoff droughts.

The Jaguars are in the enviable position of being in a bad division that saw a 9-7 division winner, while the Bucs will have a tougher time as they have the defending NFC Conference  Super Bowl representative Carolina Panthers in their way.  As the season goes on the Bucs and Jags should be exciting teams to watch with Winston and Bortles throwing to talented groups of receivers and if there is a positive change on the defense they could see their fortunes change and finally see playoff football back in Florida.
