In week 1 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, who led the NFL in sacks during the preseason and features the preseason’s highest rated cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III, will be up against gunslinger Matt Ryan and his standout receivers, Julio Jones and Mohammed Sanu.
Last year, Matt Ryan threw for 4,591 yards and this year he will have an extra target to throw to. However, Matt Ryan will not have enough time to find his targets, as the Buccaneers, rejuvenated pass rush will shorten his time in the pocket.
The Buccaneers run defense will be put to the test as they well face a highly capable running back in Devonta Freeman. Week 1 should be a great start to the season for Tampa, and should be an easy win, as Dirk and Smitty will have a lot to prove this season. They will surely have it out for their former team.
