Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery has been suspended for violating the NFL’s P.E.D. policy. His suspension comes without pay. Jeffery released a statement saying that he had been careful about what he puts into his body and that he had taken a recommended supplement to ease inflammation. Evidently, that supplement had contained a substance banned by the NFL. Of course, Jeffery takes full responsibility and is embarrassed and assures fans that he will be more careful in the future. The Bears organization are upset this has happened but fully support their wide receiver.
