Dertoit Lions waive Johnthan Banks.

Former Bucs cornerback was recently traded to the Detroit Lions for a 2017, seventh-round conditional draft pick (A conditional draft pick is the result of a trade. … compensation will be a draft pick, and C) which pick it will be is based on the performance of the traded player and/or his new team.)

Also waived by the Lions was former Ravens running back Justin Forsett. The running back was released by the Ravens at the end of the 2016 preseason only to be re-signed to the team with a 2-year $6 million dollar contract. He was released during the regular season and is still owed $3 million by Baltimore. The Lions signed Forsett in October.
