Tampa recently brought Major Wright back to add some depth to the safety position after starter Chris Conte sustained a chest contusion, in the win against the Seattle Seahawks last month. Major Wright had appeared in two games since being re-signed by Tampa, but he had not recorded any stats. The fact that Wright has been waived strongly indicates that Conte should be returning. With Keith Tandy playing so well, there is no obvious need for Major Wright at this time.
