Cameron Brate finds the end zone in loss to Cowboys.

With the Cowboys defense focusing on Mike Evans Sunday night Cameron Brate stepped up and made plays. He caught five of eight targets for 73 yards and put Tampa back up in the game with a touchdown catch. After Jameis not throwing a touchdown pass last week for the first time in his entire football career, it was nice to see the captain finding it again.

Next week the Buccaneers face off against the New Orleans Saints, who just came off a big win against the Arizona Cardinals, and Brate will likely play an important role in that game. Brate has become a security blanket for Jameis Winston and quickly took the role of starting role from former Bucs tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins earlier in the Season. Tampa needs to win their final two games of the season to hopefully find themselves back in the Playoff and Brate will play a key factor in keeping those games close and our playoff hopes alive.
