Tampa has promoted defensive end Channing Ward to the active roster and signed offensive tackle Kyler Kerbyson, who was cut on Wednesday, to the practice squad.
Ward was an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss and saw some playing time in five games this season. He was waived and later re-signed to the practice squad where he stayed for six weeks until recently being promoted to the active roster. His activation brings the roster back up to 53, by filling the spot that was formerly held by Doug Martin.
