We have all seen the on the field antics of Chad Johnson. I saw an interview he recently did and I was surprised, to say the least. It reminded me of Herm Edwards and his advice to new NFL rookies. Chad stated all of his jewelry, including rings, chains, and watches were all fake. He said why spend that kind of money on such items.
Further into the interview, Chad went on to say that he has a modest house and no entourage and that he lives a simple life, enjoying money coming into his bank account rather than going out. With the short career life in the NFL, I hope his frugalness reaches other players that like to squander five digits on a dinner and parting. I was very impressed with his attitude and how ‘Down to Earth’ he really is. Herm, I think you should add Chad Johnson, as a guest speaker when you talk to the NFL rookies. Like I said, I did not see that one coming.
But that’s just my 2 bullion.
