Best in the League???

Could the NFC South be the best division in the NFL? Some would argue yes!

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are an up and coming team that is a threat to any team they face. Going from 2-14 a couple seasons ago to being a game away from the playoffs last season, the Bucs have one of the best, if not the best, young nucleus in the league. Talk around the league is that the Bucs are trending up.

The Saints have an ageless wonder at QB and one who will always give them a chance to win. Drew Bress is a hall of fame QB and although this last season was a downfall for the organization, it will be back to prominence soon.

Carolina, this season, got caught with their tails between their legs, and that came after a devastating defeat in the Super Bowl a year ago. Although they were down last year, the Panthers can become a force at any time, and I expect they will next season.

.
The Atlanta Falcons, they were the second team to represent the NFC South in a consecutive Super Bowl, and they too followed the same fate as the Panthers, but their downfall was little worse than Carolina’s. It will be interesting to see how they handle that debacle in the Super Bowl.

Matt Ryan looks like he is getting better as he goes along, but that is an easy thing to do when you have one the best receivers in the league. Having a solid 1-2 punch in the backfield doesn’t hurt either.

The NFC south is up for grabs this season and I expect every team in the division to be up to par this season and ready to battle.
