Tampa has let go of veteran cornerback Alterraun Verner on Thursday, and that move will free up $6.5 million dollars in cap space. Verner has been with the Buccaneers for the past two season in which he recorded 72 tackles, 2 interceptions, 11 passes defended and went half on a QB sack.
NFL insider Ian Rapport stated that he believes one of the big reasons behind the move is Vernon Hargreaves and his promising future.
