Word on the street is that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed long snapper Garrison Sanborn, former Bill, to a one-year contract.

According to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times who first reported the signing, Garrison Sanborn has a strong chance of being the Bucs long snapper in 2017.

Last season, long snapper free agent Andrew DePaola suffered an ACL injury that required surgery and has yet to be re-signed by the Buccaneers.

Sanborn was signed by the Bills in 2009 and was one of the most consistent long snappers in the NFL. Sanborn also was among the highest paid long snappers in the league.
