Licht’s strategy paying off for Tampa?

Jason Licht has made a number of exciting moves in the off-season thus far. Including an explosive receiver in DeSean Jackson, a disruptive defensive tackle Chris Baker, who will play alongside Gerald McCoy, and lastly is the signing of hard-hitting, veteran safety, JJ Wilcox.

So what does this mean for the upcoming draft?

Licht certainly has a number of options like another explosive receiver like John Ross, another tight end to compliment Cameron Brate.

I believe Licht will draft OJ Howard. Why? Cameron Brate was great last year, but the Buccaneers really thrive on a two tight end set and although, Brate was reliable weapon for Winston, having two capable tight ends brings a whole new dynamic to the offense. Jameis Winston’s offense will be a force to reckon with.

The draft is deep in every position needed on our team making Licht’s life just a little bit easier, Although, his job is in no way easy and something  I wouldn’t want to be the one who has to do.

With the signings of DeSean Jackson, Chris Baker, and JJ Wilcox, Licht has masterfully made additions for both sides of the ball that will make an immediate impact, and could also become the stepping-stone for our Buccaneers in the future.
