Heading into rookie camps, OTA’s, training camp, etc., teams are looking for an identity. Some like to spread you out and air the ball out, some like to pound the ball and throw when necessary.
Others like to lean on their defense and manage the clock. But when asked by Jenna Laine of ESPN coach about the identity of the 2017 Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Koetter responded back to her, “A badass football team.”
Last season the defense was top in the league down the stretch and the offense is coming along and continually adding playmakers around Jameis. The Bucs could be in fact “A badass football team,” this season.
