Buccaneers have some unfinished business!

The Buccaneers almost made the playoffs last year but fell short that led the giants and packers to the wild card. Well, the Bucs look to change that this year and siege the day!

The Buccaneers got a running head start and jumped into free agency quickly by signing Desean Jackson and Chris Baker on 3-year deals. Those guys almost instantly jump into starting positions. A couple days later the Buccaneers buttoned up their secondary by signing J.J. Wilcox and also resigned Chris Conte both was given 2-year deals.

Next thing we knew the draft was here! I will admit O.J. Howard was a steal for us at 19. I mean he was top 10 talent and we got him at 19! Then we took Justin Evans, Chris Godwin, Kendell Beckwith, Jeremy McNichols, and Stevie Tu’ikolovatu. We drafted guys that are going to make an immediate impact.

I truly believe Jameis has the talent around him now to make him a great QB. Last year he didn’t have much help, other than Brate and Evans. With J.R. Sweezy fully healthy, now our offensive line has more depth. The Buccaneers have bolstered every level possible this offseason. We still have no idea who will start in the SAM or safeties positions. In my opinion, Keith Tandy played extraordinary last season towards the end of the season.

Here is my projected depth chart (THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL, JUST MY THINKING!)

QB– Winston

RB– McNichols (until Doug gets back from suspension)

WR– Evans, Jackson

TE– Howard, Brate

LT– Donovan Smith

LG– Kevin Pamphile

C– Ali Marpet

RG– J.R. Sweezy

RT– Demar Dotson

DE– Robert Ayers, William Gholston

DT– Gerald McCoy, Chris Baker

LB– Lavonte David, Kwon Alexander, Kendell Beckwith

CB– Brent Grimes, Vernon Hargreaves III,

FS– Justin Evans, Chris Conte

SS– Keith Tandy, J.J. Wilcox

Once again this is no shape or form how it could end up, this is just what I believe will happen. The Buccaneers have the talent, depth, speed, and MOST important is the DESIRE to WIN! We were so close last year, this year is our year! WE ARE COMING FOR THE VINCE LOMBARDI!
