The Jacksonville Jaguars have worked out former Titan and former Bucs cornerback Alterraun Verner. It seems that Verner was a not in very good shape when he tried out for the team and will likely be given another chance once he gets into shape again.

Verner, who was a former fourth-round pick for the Titans in 2010 and former Titan Pro Bowler, spent three seasons in Tampa. In his three seasons with Tampa, he played in 46 games, had 118 solo tackles, 20 pass defends, and four interceptions.

Verner’s saw a significant downgrade while playing in Tampa, and his release earlier this offseason allowed Tampa to free up $6.5 million in cap space.
