The Buccaneers already boast two talented receivers in Mike Evans and Desean Jackson, but according to head coach Dirk Koetter, Chris Godwin is already off to a fast start. The Buccaneers third-round draft pick was a big part of Penn State’s offense and after scoring 16 touchdowns in his last two season there, he is turning heads in Bucs OTAS.
Godwin was brought in to be the third or fourth receiver. Last year at seasons end Koetter made it known the Buccaneers needed playmakers and speed. Godwin certainly fits the bill. His last two seasons at Penn State he showed everyone that he had those traits. With him Godwin turning heads in OTA’s he could push Humphries down the depth chart.
