On July 27th, Madden released the first round rookies Madden ratings.

The Buccaneers selected O.J. Howard out of the University of Alabama, with the 19th pick of the 2016 NFL draft.

Playing all four seasons at the University of Alabama, he caught 114 passes for 1,726 yards and 7 touchdowns. He is known for his great blocking ability but also can space the field and roll out for passes. He has long arms and some strong hands and all of his attributes lead him to be ranked 82 overall, and the second best rookie on Madden. Falling one point behind Top Ranked rookie Myles Garrett, who was ranked 83 overall.

Some of Howards Madden ratings:

Vertical Threat: 92
Acceleration: 89
Jumping: 88
Speed: 85
Agility: 85
Pass Protection: 81
Run Blocking: 75

We all know that the Buccaneers have high hopes for their rookie tight end, but it looks like EA Sports, also believe in him. Once again, it looks like Jason Licht has hit another home run with the draft.
