Best Tight End Duo in the NFL?

Last season Cameron Brate really developed into a TOP 10 Tight End in the NFL. Brate and Winston really built the kind of connection an NFL coach only dreams of. In 2016 Brate had 660 yards on 57 receptions and 8 touchdowns. Brate was tied for first with Chargers Tight End Hunter Henry in touchdowns.

In the 2017 Nfl Draft, the Buccaneers drafted Tight End star O.J. Howard with the 19th overall pick. Howard was projected to go in the TOP 10 but with all the defensive stars, Howard fell to the Bucs. In his 4-year career at Alabama Howard compiled 1,726 yards on 114 yards and 7 touchdowns. Now those numbers might sound extremely impressive but Alabama really didn’t utilize their Tight End like the Buccaneers will.

The Buccaneers love the two Tight End sets and now that they have Howard they could very well have the Best Tight End Duo in the NFL. Howard is 6’6 and 251 pounds and Brate is 6’5 and 245 pounds. Cameron Brate is more of a pass catching TE and Howard is more of a blocking TE but can also roll out and catch passes. These two guys are going to be unstoppable. Howard is a matchup nightmare for other defenses. I don’t see any other DUO TE in the NFL that can top Brate and Howard! GO BUCS!
