The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived Boise State’s all-time leader in receiving yards with an injury settlement on Thursday. Sperbeck had injured his hamstring earlier in training camp and was initially placed injured reserve.
The Buccanneers signed Sperbeck, as an undrafted free agent, to a three-year $1.66 million contract in May of this year.
Sperbeck played in 44 games, over the course of his 4-year college career, receiving 224 passes for 3,601 yards and 20 touchdowns.
