The Buccaneers linebackers were impressive in their 12 to 8 victory over the Jaguars, shutting them out in the first half. The Buccaneers defense allowed 57 rush yards total against The Jaguars, but only allowed one in the first half of the game, this is after the Jaguars led all teams with 207 rush yards against The Patriots, in week one of preseason.
Dirk Koetter says their depth at linebacker is better than it’s been in his time in Tampa Bay. Kwon Alexander has eight tackles in his limited playing time, through two weeks of preseason. Lavonte David has five stops, and is the only player on the team with a sack and a pass breakup.
