The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waive “Hey Jude”.

In the wake of Jude Adjei-Barimah’s waiving is the signing of long snapper Andrew DePaola.  DePaola was released back in May after the Buccaneers signed Robert McClain.

Barimah has been waived with an injury designation and this should come as no surprise as he is to miss the entire season due to a painful knee injury. However, if Barimah clears waivers, he will be placed on the team’s injury reserve. It will be the  second instance in a short time frame that Jude has been placed on the IR.

Jude was placed on the IR back in December of last year after initially suffering the knee injury.  He was singed by the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green in 2015. He played in 13 games that year, recording 41 tackles and 1 pass defend. Last Season, Barimah played 10 games as he was suspended for four games due to P.E.D violatons and then ultimately injured. He recorded 22 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 passes defended.
