Bears vs Buccaneers injury report.

The Chicago Bears will be without one of their best offensive lineman against the Buccaneers today. Bears fifth-year veteran guard Kyle Long was initially listed as questionable for today’s contest, but earlier this morning the Bears stated that Long will not even make the trip to Tampa.

An ankle injury will keep the Bears top offensive guard from joining them in Tampa.  Long has been rehabbing from an ankle surgery he underwent late last season. On top of the ankle issue, he iss also suffering from a torn labrum, which he decided against having surgery to repair. Despite having the wonky shoulder, it seems the only issue keeping him from playing is his ankle.

Kevin White suffered a broken collar bone and or fractured shoulder blade. He is placed on IR and could miss the entire 2017 season.

Eight additional Bears players find themselves on the questionable/ doubtful list:

OLB Leonard Floyd  has a back issue that has him listed as questionable.

RB Jordan Howard too is questionable as he is suffering from a shoulder issue, but is expected to play.

WR Markus Wheaton has sustained a finger injury that also has him listed as questionable. He could play today.

Another Bears WR Josh Bellamy finds himself listed as questionable for today’s contest. Although he is suffering from an ankle injury, he could see playing time due to the lack of receivers for the Bears.

CB Prince Amukamara  is also suffering from an ankle injury.  Despite being listed as questionable he is expected to play.

LB Christian Jones is marked down as questionable due to a back injury.

The final question is that of S Deon Bush, who is suffering from a hamstring injury. Whether or not he can play is up in the air.

One player finds themselves listed as doubtful and that player is RB Benny Cunningham. Cunningham was carted off the field during the Falcons game last week with what was believed to be a knee injury. However he listed doubtful with a high-ankle injury that could keep him sidelined for 4-6 weeks.

The Buccaneers had a few players listed as questionable. Both Kwon Alexander and Evan Smith, were listed as questionable due to an illness, but they are expected to play today. Devante Bond on the other hand, is out for today’s contest due to a knee injury.
