In the wake of Murray’s signing, the Buccaneers have placed veteran kicker Nick Folk on the Injury Reserve list.
The move to place Folk on IR was more than just a move to make room for the new kicker, but is was due to an actual injury. According to Rick Stroud, of the Tampa Bay Times, it is believed that Folk has been battling tendinitis in his plant leg.
The tendinitis in his plant leg could be a major reason to why he was missing FGs.
Folk made 6 of 11 FGs so far this season and missed 2 of 9 extra points.
