Adrian Peterson Traded To The Cardinals.

Rumors came out over the weekend that the Saints were possibly fishing for a trade for Adrian Peterson, as of today, he has in fact been traded to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional draft pick.

The Cardinals hope the addition of Peterson, will boost their dismal running game, which had been disappointing since the loss of David Johnson. Peterson will join Andre Ellington and Kerwynn Williams in an attempt to bring some life back into an all but dead Cardinals rushing attack.

AP is a former first-round draft in 2007 selected by the Minnesota Vikings. He is a member of the 2000-yard rushing club and has led the NFL in Rushing yard three times. (2008, 2012, and 2015)

This season AP has appeared in 4 games, recording 81 yards on 27 carries and no TDs.

The Buccaneers play the Arizona Cardinals this week.
