The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are facing uncertain times. The once optimistic state is turning sour at the speed of a stunting defensive lineman. The offense seems off at times, and defensive scheme is not being used to the players strengths.

This past off season seemed ripe for the taking, we finally had an offense that could win games. The defense looked good considering the late push it provided last season, now they can’t stop anybody. I know they were missing huge pieces in Alexander, and David, but with them back we all thought it would be an automatic change to a dominate defense. The fact we can’t cover any receiver or manufacturer a pass-rush is scary, we currently sit at 32 out of 32 teams in sacks dead last with 7.

A 43 yr old retired Bucs great is contemplating a come back, we need some young blood. The Jags just traded a 6th round pick for Marcell Dareus, granted we are solid on defensive tackles, but I think we really need to consider any trade defensively. Corner back and defensive lineman should be on top of Dirk and Jason’s priority wish list. I just hope it’s not too late for a once promising season.
