Brent Grimes has been our best corner since the Bucs signed him as a free agent last year. Now, that he’s most likely on his way out next year, what are the Bucs going to do?? Here are several options:

As far as free agents next year Malcom Butler, the hero of the Pats Super Bowl win, would be a nice addition. Kam Chancellor, from the Seahawks, or Malcom Jenkins could be that safety we sorely need. Xavior Rhodes would also be another DB worth looking at, if we can lure him from Minnesota.

In the 2018 draft, there are some good looking corners to pick from. Ken Webster from Ole Miss would be an excellent choice, if the Bucs can snag him. Denzel Ward from Ohio State or Tavarus McFadden from Florida State would be great options if they fall to the second round.

Whichever route the Bucs decide to go, one thing is certain, a complete overhaul of the backfield is needed.
