Update: William Gholston

“Will flew back. He is continuing to undergo some testing here. They’re saying that he is neurologically sound and that everything is good that way, but he is continuing to undergo testing. We will see in the next day or so what that means as far as him playing moving forward.” Koetter said during Monday’s press conference at One Buc Place.

On Wednesday he gave another update, confirming that #92 will be out in week 10 against the Jets, saying, “Gholston is still in a neck brace and not ready yet to play football, he has been walking around, though.”

Will also took to Instagram to thank everyone for their well wishes, and stated all seemed to be okay.

We are happy to hear he is recovering well and hope to see him back on the field soon.

So, what does that mean for this weeks game against the Jets? Who will step up and into Gholstons spot for week 10? There are a few possibilities, one being Ryan Russell starting in place of number 92, or will they go with Veteran Daryl Tapp, who is also in line, making it his first time to dress and start since signing with the team in October? So far, there doesn’t seem to be too much chatter regarding the position. We will keep you posted once we have more information.
