New comer Daryll Tapp gets a sack his first game for Bucs

Due to the injury William Gholston sustained to his neck against the New Orleans Saints, Daryll Tapp got his first start as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the New York Jets. Tapp, who was signed in September after being released by the New Orleans Saints, finished the game with a sack and a tackle for a loss.
Tapp, a 12 year veteran of the issue, could get more play time and a chance to prove himself to the team if Gholston’s neck injury is more serious then thought, and keeps him out for longer then anticipated. Once Gholston returns, however, Tapp’s chance of play time will likely decrease.
