Reports have come out early this afternoon about an apparent investigation into a sexual assault levied against Bucs QB Jameis Winston stemming from an incident in 2016 with a female Uber driver.
Early reports state Jameis contacted the Uber pickup service through one of his social media accounts, but was with several friends at the time of the incident.
It’s very possible Jameis had nothing to do with this allegation if it’s levied directly at him or his friends in the vehicle. Regardless, this tarnishes his rather fragile reputation which can’t take many more hits.
Do note that this is an NFL investigation and not a police matter…yet.
