Mississippi State has shown interest in hiring Buccaneers offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Todd Monken for the Bulldogs head coaching job, vacated by Dan Mullen when he was hired by the Florida Gators on Tuesday. Mississippi State is looking to hire a coach sooner rather than later. Unfortunately for them, the Buccaneers have 5 games left in this dismal season.

Todd Monken was hired by Tampa Bay in 2016, a year after Mike Evans led the NFL in dropped passes, and since then, Monken has done an outstanding job with the Buccaneers wide receivers.

It is being reported that Todd Monken is expected to remain in Tampa Bay despite interest from Mississippi State regarding their head coaching position.
