Mike Evans Closing In On Elite Status.

Mike Evans Caught Six passes for 107 yards in the loss against the Panthers on Sunday, but those yards bring him within inches of greatness. Although last weeks 100-yard game was the first of this season, it is the 13th of his career which brings him closer to a Buccaneers franchise record. The franchise record is currently held by WR Mark Carrier with 15 career 100-yard games. 

Not only is Evans closing in on a franchise record, he is also just 54 yards shy of making NFL history for four-consecutive 1,000 yard seasons which has only been accomplished by two other players, Randy Moss and A.J. Green.

Evans in his 4th season has accumulated over 4,500 yards placing him just behind six other players in history. Next Sunday’s game should inch him further up the ladder.
