Todd Monken has had split coaching roles since coming to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a wide receiver coach and an offensive coordinator, but now all of that has changed. The Buccaneers have promoted Skyler Fulton to the full-time wide receiver coach, and Monken will now take on the responsibilities of a full-time offensive coordinator.
Despite Monken’s job change, Dirk Koetter is still going to be the play caller next season, but the fact that Monken can focus solely on OC duties will give Koetter an extra option for play calling that he didn’t have last season.
Koetter stated that you will see Monken as a “walk-around OC” on the sidelines just like you see on every other team in the NFL.
