Money Money – Ryan Seal

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will enter the 2018 free agency with an astounding 73 million dollar cap space. Considering this team needs a lot of work both on offense and defense, having that much money to spend should help this team get to where they want to be. Which isn’t 5-11. Now whether or not this team will actually use that money in a smart and team friendly way remains to be seen.

The potential catalyst for the Bucs to target, well at least in my opinion, are the Honey Badger, Michael Bennett or Mo Wilkerson, and everyone to help fill this depleted secondary. I would say throw some offensive lineman in there and a running back, but I would much rather see them target those needs in the draft this April.

My only hopes for this off season is for them to actually go after players and positions of need, not of players they want. If they can play their cards right during free agency and the draft, then I think this Bucs team can be much improved. As fans, we just have to sit back and watch the fireworks.
